Adults with ADHD (often undiagnosed and untreated) are over-represented in therapy offices because of its many effects on relationship functioning and daily life. This session will be based on the results of the first significant research into how ADHD affects couples’ sexual functioning and satisfaction to help clinicians work more effectively with these clients. Given the additional daily struggles, couples where one partner has ADHD can benefit all the more from the positive effects of good sexual connection on overall relationship satisfaction.
