The SSIT program is for individuals who are seriously interested in teaching about sexuality and spirituality, or current teachers of sex and spirit. This training will delve deeply into the mind/body/spirit split, elucidating the ways we can begin to help people to heal.
You will learn about your own splits, about the history of the issue, and many current methods and techniques that teachers are using to bring these pieces of ourselves back together. You will also learn invaluable training skills that you can use for any instruction experience. Keep reading!

"I was SOOOOOOO worried about being able to create a ritual for a class without appropriating from other cultures because I have seen some beautiful rituals. However, you broke it down in that the meaning is created by the group/participant. We just supply the materials, the space, the elements and some ideas. 5-Day Retreat Oct 16-22, 2025
Phoenix, AZ
- In the fall we will meet for an in-person retreat. The retreat will give you a chance to practice facilitation methods, discuss philosophies of sacred sexuality, and try out ideas with your learning community of incredible peers. Each day will offer experiential learning, discussions and activities that will allow you to hone your creative process and to practice your skills. Breakfast and lunch are included in the cost of your program.
- Just interested in the retreat? No problem. You can attend the retreat as a stand-alone event.
Coaching
- Each student will receive 6 one-on-one coaching sessions with a Certified Sex Educator Supervisor. You can use this time to develop ideas, your teaching philosophy, workshops, webinars, retreats, and personal or professional goals.
What Will I Get From the Program?
Students accepted into the program will be able to
- identity your own philosophies, methods and styles for teaching
- enhance and practice energy transfer
- learn to recognize energy patterns and identify ways to use metaphor in embodied ways
- learn and practice structural teaching skills
- teach how to practice ethical, optional sensual touch
- recognize and avoid common pitfalls and mistakes of Sacred Sexuality teachers and communities
- create and structure Sacred Sexuality/Sex & Spirituality workshops using your own design and philosophy
- learn how to help others to reconnect sexuality with the natural world
- learn about mantra, meditation, and other spiritual practices and how they interplay with sexuality

Full Program--$4995
A $500 deposit is required to save your space. It is due by May 15, 2025. Cancellation insurance of $2000 is included in your purchase and applies only to the retreat portion of the program. Details of the coverage will be spelled out in a financial agreement you will read and sign before you register.
Retreat Only--$2199 (no lodging) Stay at retreat house: $2699+ depending on room
